Privacy Requests
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information · Access · Deletion · Correction
Privacy laws in a number of U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — give residents rights over their personal information, including the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. This page is how you exercise those rights with Bellwize.
Bellwize does not sell personal information, and does not share it for targeted advertising. We still provide this page so that you can submit a standing opt-out request (which we record and will honor if our practices ever change) and so you can exercise your other rights below.
Your rights
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Access the personal information we hold about you and learn how it has been used.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Portability — receive a copy of your information in a usable format.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request.
- Non-discrimination — exercising your rights will never affect how we treat you.
Submit a request
Fill in whichever fields apply — an email address or phone number helps us locate any information connected to you. We use what you submit here only to process your request and, if needed, to verify it. Requests are also accepted by email at contact@bellwize.com.
What happens next
We review requests promptly and respond within the time required by the applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable where the law allows). For access, deletion, and correction requests we may need to verify your identity first; if we cannot verify a request, we will tell you why. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing contact@bellwize.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." If you are not satisfied after the appeal, you may contact your state's Attorney General.
What "sale" and "sharing" mean
Under state privacy laws, a "sale" is an exchange of personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" generally means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. Bellwize does neither. For the full picture of what we handle, see our Privacy Policy.
