Privacy Policy

Bellwize ("we," "us") publishes market information at bellwize.com and its subdomains (together, the "Site"). This policy describes what information is handled when you visit the Site, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights available to you. We may update this policy as the Site evolves; the effective date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be noted on this page.

Information we collect

Information you provide. The Site does not require an account. If you contact us or submit a form on the Site (for example a privacy request or, in the future, a newsletter signup), we receive what you choose to send — typically a name, an email address, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server logs to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages requested, and timestamps. These logs are processed under Netlify's own privacy practices, and we do not use them to build profiles of visitors.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, health, or financial account data), and we do not want you to send it to us.

How we use information

• Operating the Site — serving pages, maintaining security, preventing abuse, and diagnosing technical problems.
• Responding to you — answering messages, processing corrections, and fulfilling privacy requests.
• Communications you request — if we launch email updates, we will send them only to people who sign up, and every message will include a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly, and in any event within ten business days.
• Legal compliance — where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell your personal information

Bellwize does not sell personal information and has not done so in the preceding 12 months, and does not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or for targeted advertising. If our practices ever change, we will update this policy first, provide any notice required by law, and honor opt-out requests submitted through our Privacy Requests page — including requests submitted before the change.

We share information only with service providers acting on our instructions (for example, our hosting provider), in connection with a business transfer (in which case the recipient would be bound by commitments consistent with this policy), or where required by law, subpoena, or legal process.

Cookies and tracking

Bellwize does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and configure any tool to minimize data collection. Your browser may offer a "Do Not Track" or opt-out preference signal; because we do not track visitors across sites, honoring such signals requires no action on our part, but where applicable law treats them as opt-out requests we recognize them as such.

Data security and retention

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards designed to protect information from loss and unauthorized access. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for correspondence, that generally means as long as needed to resolve the matter and maintain a record of it; for any future mailing list, until you unsubscribe or the list is retired.

Children

The Site is general-audience financial information and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and a growing list of other U.S. states), you may have some or all of the following rights, which we honor as applicable law requires:

• Right to know / access — request the personal information we hold about you and how it has been used and shared.
• Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. (We do neither, and a standing request is still recorded and honored.)
• Right to portability — request a copy of your personal information in a usable format.
• Right to appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal, and if you remain unsatisfied you may contact your state Attorney General.
• Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never affect how we treat you.

To exercise any of these rights, use our Privacy Requests page or email contact@bellwize.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request; the information you provide for verification is used only for that purpose. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf if you give the agent written permission and we can verify your identity.

Where information is processed

The Site is operated from the United States, and information is processed in the United States and in any other country where our service providers maintain facilities. If you visit from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Articles may link to external sites. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you provide information to.
